Dear You is Jawbreaker's only major label album. Released on September 12, 1995 through DGC Records, it is their fourth and final full-length studio album.

Containing much less raspy vocals than any previous album, Dear You had received the radio-friendly polish that the previous albums had lacked. Singer/guitarist Blake Schwarzenbach later confirmed that the move to DGC was necessary for the band to stay around, as they had been on the verge of breaking up.
